Laiyun was a physics teacher at the University of Yangtze for over 30 years and is now retired. She has a very strong personality and has a big passion for her life and family. Her children always can get support from her. Her hobbies are traditional Chinese painting and gardening.

Hairong is the bride's young sister and is a perfect combination of intelligence and beauty. She is working as a senior software developer in Silicon Valley, California. Like most international students, she experienced numerous challenges when she came to the US at age of 16 but now, all her efforts are starting to pay off.

Shambhavi is one of Yanbing's best friends and is a lovely and intelligent girl from India. They studied together while pursuing their MBA degrees at the University of New Brunswick. Shambhavi is now a successful business consultant in Fredericton.

Jean has been working as a professional welder by trade for over 25 years and is currently working in machine maintenance at Westwood Industries. His hobbies include watching the Toronto Maple Leafs win and playing golf with them when they don't make the playoffs.
Paulette Cormier

Paulette has been a registered nurse for over 25 years and is currently working at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton. Her hobbies include reading books, knitting and gardening.
Bernard Jacob

Bernard is currently working as a support specialist for a national mobile phone provider. He has known Serge since junior high school and has introduced him to many of his current friends from the Shediac area. He has also assisted Serge when he was hosting his own dance mix radio show at CJSE 89.5 FM.
Vincent Girouard

Vincent has been a professional truck driver for over 10 years now and is currently living in London Ontario. He has known Serge since high school when he was introduced by Bernard. Vincent's favorite musical group of all time is The Doors and his favorite hobby is traveling. He and Serge recently went on a trip to Europe where they visited Holland and Belgium.
Denis Cormier
Usher
Denis is Serge's young brother of 2 years. He has been an engineer for over 5 years now and is currently working for an engineering firm in Fredericton NB. He is married and just had a baby boy named Gavin on February of 2008. His hobbies are playing golf and watching his dad play golf with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
