Serge and Yanbing first met back in November 2003 at McConnell hall, the main cafeteria in the University of New Brunswick.
Bride's comments about their first meeting: Serge came to my table and said "Hi, may I sit here"? He looked slightly nervous and was holding a plate containing a variety of pizza slices. I found something special in his shining greenish eyes and sweet smile so I accepted.
They spent the last 3 semesters at UNB getting to know each other better by studying for some courses together and hanging out with friends. They spent the 2005 Christmas holidays together and that's when they grew even closer. They dated for just under 2 years when in August 2007, Serge decided to take the plunge and propose to Yanbing.
Serge and Yanbing enjoy traveling together and have been on road trips to various destinations including Ottawa, Buffalo NY, Montreal, Quebec City, Maine, Halifax and various parts of New Brunswick. The furthest they've traveled together so far is San Francisco in California but this will change when they head off to Europe for their honeymoon.
